About this Event
We will begin with a psychoeducation lecture of what anxiety is and the difference between
dysregulating and functional anxiety.
We will continue with a discussion that focuses on the reduction of rajas and cultivation of sattva
which are considered part of down-regulating practices and useful when experiencing
hyperarousal. A 15-minute yoga sequence will be presented and practiced in a yoga class format.
Handouts and copies of full yoga sequences tailored for anxiety will be provided and included with tuition.
