Are you an educator, a researcher or an academic passionate about teaching, learning, and creating inclusive classrooms that truly empower every student?
We invite you to join us for Leading Together 2025 conference at Pune, India hosted by The University of Melbourne and partner institutions across India – Savitribai Phule Pune University (co-host), Tetso College, Stella Maris College, and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Leading Together 2025 aims to bring together global educators and academics, to discuss and share insights about the future of higher education which depends on pedagogical practices that are inclusive, identity-affirming, and culturally responsive.
By bridging Indian and Australian perspectives, the conference reimagines the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) as a shared space for inquiry, equity, and transformation, while keeping students at the centre.
Together, we aim to ask:
- What is SoTL? Why does it matter? Who does it serve?
- How can it foster inclusive and transformative pedagogy across contexts?
This year, our conference is focused on 4 sub themes-
- Innovative Teaching Practices
- Curriculum, Assessment & Learning Design
- Student Voice & Partnership
- Technology & the Future of Learning
Call for Abstracts
We invite contributions that push boundaries and spark reflection!
Submit a 200-word abstract with your name, short bio and affiliation to- [email protected]
Deadline: November 20, 2025
(Contributions may take the form of: Empirical or conceptual SoTL research, Case studies of innovative practice, Reflective essays on teaching and learning, Co-authored work with students as partners.)
*Only the most outstanding papers will be selected for presentation. Authors of these selected papers will also be invited to contribute to an edited volume that extends the key conversations of the conference.
*Certificates of participation will be awarded to all presenters and participants.
