About This Event
Join us for a simulcast event for marketplace leaders and future leaders on Tuesday, April 21, from 7:30–8:30 a.m., at Southside Church in Newnan.
In today’s rapidly changing world, cultural, economic, and technological forces are reshaping how we think, work, and live—often making it harder to experience depth, purpose, and fulfillment.
At Leadership Labs, social scientist and happiness expert Arthur Brooks will share how to push back against these changes and find the meaning you need to live a happy, fulfilling life. His research-backed insights will offer a practical framework for rediscovering purpose in both your life and your leadership.
Arthur Brooks is a professor at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Harvard Business School where he teaches courses on leadership and happiness. He is also a CBS News contributor, columnist with The Free Press, and host of the weekly podcast Office Hours with Arthur Brooks.
Brooks is the author of 15 books, including the #1 New York Times bestsellers Build the Life You Want: The Art and Science of Getting Happier, co-authored with Oprah Winfrey, and From Strength to Strength: Finding Success, Happiness, and Deep Purpose in the Second Half of Life. His next book, The Meaning of Your Life: Finding Purpose in an Age of Emptiness, will be released on March 31.
Brooks is one of the world’s leading experts on the science of human happiness, appearing in the media and traveling the world to teach people in private companies, universities, public agencies, and faith communities how they can live happier lives and bring greater well-being to others.
