The INSEAD Alumni Association Singapore is delighted to invite you to this special event, taking place during the GEMBA 26 Graduation Module in Singapore. This global seminar convenes 200+ Executive MBA candidates and alumni from the Fontainebleau, Abu Dhabi, and Singapore campuses, marking a significant milestone in the GEMBA journey and a unique opportunity to reflect, reconnect, and reimagine leadership in today’s world.

Why This Seminar, Why Now

We live in an era of tectonic global shifts; not just technological and economic, but cultural and geopolitical. As regions rise and global systems are redefined, the world is calling for leadership that is not only strategic, but deeply human.

This seminar is an invitation to reimagine leadership at its roots. Drawing from INSEAD’s global community, the contemplative leadership practices of the Dalai Lama Fellowship, and the region’s historical role as a crossroads between East and West, we will explore how expanded ways of knowing can shape the leaders our world needs today.

About the Seminar

Leadership in Unprecedented Times challenges us to go beyond conventional approaches to leadership and metrics of success and engage with deeper questions: What do these times truly mean and reflect? What types of intelligences must we cultivate to bridge cultures, build trust, and lead wisely through this moment’s complexity? And, where do we go from here? Structured in three immersive acts, the seminar invites critical inquiry, embodied presence, and radical reimagining:

1. How Did We Get Here? A historical reflection on how modernity privileged intellect over intuition. We’ll examine inherited paradigms and begin to unlearn the unseen rules we operate within.
2. How Do We Reclaim Our Wholeness? Using tools such as the Assumption Index, Fumbling Forward, and Embodied Contemplation, we’ll explore multiple intelligences – emotional, creative, and somatic – and their role in reshaping how we show up as leaders.
3. Where Do We Go From Here? We’ll close by envisioning a new model of leadership: one rooted in interdependence, wise choice-making, and full-spectrum awareness. Practical frameworks will guide you in integrating these insights into global business, policy, and systems change.
About the Speaker: Donna Mejia

Donna Mejia is a renowned interdisciplinary artist, scholar, and educator whose work bridges embodiment, ethics, and leadership transformation. As faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder and a long-time thought partner to the Dalai Lama Fellowship, Donna brings a rare blend of rigor and presence to her teaching. She is celebrated for her ability to guide leaders through complexity with grace—inviting them to integrate stillness, intuition, and wisdom into fast-moving environments.

With deep roots in performance and contemplative practice, Donna’s work unlocks the intelligence of the body and reconnects us to the essence of what it means to lead with humanity.
