About this Event
The in-person "Leadership Essentials in Global Health," hosted by the Irish Global Health Network in Dublin over five days in July 2025, is dedicated to equipping participants with practical skills for leading global health programmes, particularly in resource-limited settings.
This intensive programme covers tailored key topics relevant to global health development, research, and humanitarian response, providing participants with technical expertise in leadership, project planning and management.
Participants will learn from experienced professionals in health, academia, and NGOs, gaining insights into leadership, resource allocation, cross-cultural communication, problem-solving, and collaboration in global health settings.
The programme will prepare participants for NGO environments, emphasizing management in humanitarian emergency response, research, global health and international development projects.
Practical sessions will be varied across a range of disciplines and include in-depth analytics, evaluation of digital interventions and sustainability in public health projects. Participants will engage in hands-on training through real-world case studies and interactive sessions.
Join us for an educational experience where you'll gain hands-on training, make meaningful connections with mentors and experts, and become a change-maker in global health.
