Bring your questions, your curiosity and your appetite. We'll start with lunch and networking at 11:30 a.m., with the conversation beginning promptly at 12:00 p.m.
Meet the Speakers
Greg Bailey, APR, Fellow PRSA
Founder G.Bailey & Co.
Greg Bailey, APR, Fellow PRSA, is the founder and principal of G.Bailey & Co., a strategic communications consultancy focused on disciplined execution and clear counsel.
An award-winning communications professional, he brings experience in strategic planning, corporate communications, public affairs, media relations, social media and crisis communications. His advisory work spans multiple sectors, including pharmaceutical, education, retail, banking, nonprofit, affordable housing, transit and health care, supporting organizations facing complex business and public-policy environments.
Before launching G.Bailey & Co., Greg was a partner at Finley + Bailey Strategic Communications and previously led Bailey & Company Public Relations. He was also a founding partner of Katcher Vaughn & Bailey Public Relations, following a 15-year career in journalism and public relations.
At Katcher Vaughn & Bailey, he worked with organizations including AARP, Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), Pfizer and the Office of Nashville Mayor Karl Dean. Earlier in his career, he worked at Atkinson Public Relations, serving clients such as the National Federation of Independent Business, the Gospel Music Association, First American Corporation (now Regions Bank) and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Greg began his professional career in journalism, spending 12 years at the Nashville Banner in editorial roles before serving as managing editor of the Nashville Business Journal.
He has held numerous civic and professional leadership roles, including chair of the Policy Task Force of Moving Forward, a regional transportation coalition, and co-chair of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Education Report Card initiative. He was an inaugural Fellow in the Chamber’s Leadership Education program.
Greg is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America, a member of its College of Fellows, and served as chair of the College in 2021. He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Nashville and has served on the boards of the Nashville chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Belcourt Theatre, Inc., the Nashville Civic Design Center and Oasis Center, Inc., as well as in multiple leadership roles with PRSA Nashville.
A graduate of Leadership Middle Tennessee and Leadership Nashville, Greg brings a practical, experienced perspective to communications strategy, advising clients with a focus on clarity, credibility and long-term value.
Jennifer Brantley
Managing Partner MP&F
Jennifer Brantley joined the MP&F team as an intern in 1992, and became a partner in 2017. Her clients over the years include national retailers, health care providers, senior living communities, health insurance providers, and public/private utilities.
Jennifer enjoys developing strategies to help clients achieve their goals, planning events, pitching stories to the media, exploring ways to use social media to raise a client’s brand awareness, and helping younger members of the firm grow as professionals.
Her client teams have been honored with numerous Parthenon Awards from the Nashville chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and Golden Pen Awards from the local chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators for creatively engaging bloggers, planning and executing events, writing, media outreach, and public relations campaigns.
Her community involvement includes serving on the board of Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee; as a member of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce’s education committee, as a volunteer mentor for tnAchieves, as a member of Nashville Health Care Council’s Leadership Health Care, and as a member of the Nashville Area Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi.
A native of McMinnville, Tenn., Jennifer is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in public relations and minors in business and psychology.
