About this Event
Real Talk. Real Stories. Real Connection.
Le Goûter (pronounced "goo-TAY" - rhymes with “hooray”) is a live conversation series where we sit together to explore big, often unspoken questions, honestly, gently, and in good company.
Hosted by Ally Potel, a creative producer and event curator from Paris and based in Vancouver, this intimate series invites guests and audiences into honest, heart-opening dialogue.
Each episode brings two guests to the couch to share stories we don’t usually tell at work or on social media, stories of loss, change, transition, and growth in the workplace. We record in front of a small group of guests (10 guests) and after the conversation, we stay for a little while, reflect, and talk.
This isn’t a panel. It’s not a performance. It’s an invitation to be part of something honest and human.
🎙 The Episode
"Am I too old for a Dream Life?"
Have you ever caught yourself thinking: “Is it too late for me to chase the life I always imagined?”
In this cozy, candid episode of Le Goûter, we unpack the myth of “too late” with insightful guests who’ve reimagined success on their own terms, at 30, 40, 50, and beyond. Whether you’re switching careers, starting your passion project, or just wondering if the clock is still ticking in your favour, this conversation is for you.
We’ll explore:
✨ Why society’s timelines don’t have to be yours
✨ How to reconnect with buried dreams (even if you thought they were gone)
✨ Practical courage: beginning again, right now
✨ Stories that remind us that fulfillment doesn’t have an expiration date
Emma Hull spent her life chasing someone else’s dream, trying to fit into a life she thought she should want. In her mid-40s, mid-pandemic, she tore her life down to the studs, declared herself her primary partner, and began unapologetically living her life, her way, guilt-free. She recently took two months off to walk the Camino de Santiago, 800km solo across Portugal and Spain! Emma is living proof that any dream is valid and that you have the power to redefine your reality.
Helen Siwak is the founder of EcoLuxLuv Communications and publisher of seven digital magazines. A resilient entrepreneur and media innovator, she’s built a multifaceted career across industries. Nearing 60, she champions late bloomers, solo creators, and reinvention proving it’s never too late to build your dream life.
They’ll share the real stuff: the doubts, the grief, the ego, the freedom, and the road to feeling whole again.
