Join us for an action-packed day at Surrey Docks in London on Friday 17 May. Enjoy a series of races and soak up the festival atmosphere, while enjoying food and drink by the water side. This is an ideal team building event for companies and groups of friends.
It's also for a good cause. You will be supporting LDN's Community Hub to end social isolation for people with learning disabilities in London, and help members of The Hub to gain confidence and learn life skills.
Dragon boat racing – a Chinese tradition that is over 2000 years old and one of the world’s fastest growing water sports – is an exciting rowing event where teams race against each other. The winners will go through to the final and have the chance to win the trophy and Champagne.
Along with the races there are challenges taking place on land, and food and a bar too.

Where and when?
Friday 17th May, 11am-3pm. Surrey Docks Water Sports Centre in Rotherhithe.
Who can take part?
Everyone! (Although you will need to be able to swim 50 metres). No experience is necessary and full training will be given on the day.
Each team has a minimum of 11 people (10 rowers and a drummer who keeps the pace). Teams can bring up to 22 people and people can swap for different races.
You can sign up as a team or as an individual.
If you sign up as an individual you will join a team of single entrants.
Organisations can enter as many teams as they want to. No experience or racing skill is needed.
Price
This is a team event. Teams can pay a basic entrance fee and raise sponsorship, or buy a package which includes hospitality and a sponsorship donation.
Our basic entrance fee is £750 per team, with packages up to £2000.
