About this Event

Coastal BC Seafood — From the Ocean to Your Table

Vancouver sits on one of the most extraordinary seafood coastlines in the world. In this hands-on evening class, you'll work with spot prawns, Pacific salmon, and fresh clams — ingredients that most home cooks admire but rarely feel confident preparing.

That's exactly what this class changes.

Led by one of LCV's professional chef instructors — the same people who train Vancouver's next generation of culinary talent — you'll learn not just what to do, but why it works. By the end of the evening, you'll know how to handle, prepare, and present West Coast seafood in a way that does it justice.

You'll work in a brand-new professional kitchen equipped to the same standard as our culinary degree programmes — not a demonstration space, not a restaurant back room. A real chef's kitchen, where you actually cook.

The evening finishes the best way possible: sitting down together to eat everything you've made, welcome drink in hand. Your recipes come home with you, along with your own LCV apron.

No culinary experience required. Just bring your appetite.
