Alumni are invited to our first "LC Serves" community service event on June 11th to help the United Way of Carlisle and Cumberland County prep for their U-Turn fundraiser. LC alum will help sort donated items from Dickinson College students in preparation for their yard sale event from 1:30 - 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 11th. Those who would like to are welcome to join us at Desperate Times afterwards.
*Volunteers sort, fold, clean and organize the items. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting a little dirty and sweaty. The sale setup takes place in Building T and involves a lot of walking. We will be both indoors and outdoors, unloading donations off the tractor-trailers and sorting them inside the open garage-style building. It is usually pretty warm, so dress appropriately.
