Starting out 1979 in San Francisco, the Toiling Midgets were booked as support for the Sex Pistols,
played with the Ramones and their fans include
scene greats who, next to others, shaped the sound
of Nirvana. Five records and the legacy of having
shaped a whole movement.
Now a new name, new record and new energy. The
band around Craig Gray, Paul Hood and Daniel
Cerny knows how to captivate.
Current Album: Toiling Days Are Over
An excuse for a hurtful name and the manifestation
of a new beginning: The album, released
October 13, 2023 on the german label Clouds Hill,
was recorded in studios in Germany, Canada and the
US. Hypnotizing guitars, excentric sound scapes and
musical spheres allowing glimpses in the past yet at
the same time clearly showing the new chapter the
band has opened.
