The Lawn Social
In 1893, on an expansive 8,800-acre Central Coast ranch, Lawn Social would be a blend of Victorian elegance and rugged California "Rancho" hospitality. Common in California ranching communities, a "Social "was often tied to a purpose—perhaps to welcome a new neighbor or celebrate a successful harvest. It was slightly less formal than a Garden Party but still required your guests to wear their "Saturday best."
