Law Day is an annual commemoration held to celebrate the rule of law and cultivate a deeper understanding of the legal system. The 2026 Law Day theme is “The Rule of Law and the American Dream.” The rule of law- the idea that no person is above the law- is what ensures the rights of the people to live their lives as freely as possible and to pursue their dreams.The JCPLL is proud to host this annual event at Jefferson Square on June 4th, 2026. Our specific schedule is to be announced, but look forward to a panel discussion on this year’s theme, a speech contest, musical performances, a mock trial, and tables from local organizations and firms offering information and resources.
