Rewriting Creative polarity: A Creative Circle and Healing Performance
To create art, projects and experiences in the world, we always have to collaborate. With the different parts of ourselves within us, with others, with each other, navigating differences in process, vision, perceptions and perspectives.
Through this first Creative Circle experience, we wish to explore with you, experiment and question together, the inner and outer creative blocks stemming from polarity, to understand where the creative process is blocked, where we constantly loop and hit a wall.
For example:
- are we not listening to the creative clues all around us?
- are we blocking our creative flow by over-preparing, planning, for fear of failure, success or legitimacy?
- are we overstructuring our creative work and life and suffocating it?
- are we blocking our creations to land and be seen in the world for fear of too much structure, too much rationality killing its spark?
This exploratory creative circle and healing performance will bring storytelling, songs, intuitive words and music, as well as practices for each of us to reflect upon, explore and share about our inner work, with the goal of all of us moving a step forward in our creative life.
No prior experience needed, of art or creation, but simply the willingness to come, open, to be present, to listen and to witness each other in circle and creation.
Lucie Aidart is an author and shamanic healer, and Olivier Esposito is a musician and Reiki Master. Their work bridges healing medicine and art, to create and experience new communities, worlds and ways of being.
