Laurelyn Dossett is a multi-faceted songwriter coming to us from Stokes County, NC. Her songs have been recorded by esteemed artists including Levon Helm and Rhiannon Giddens of the Carolina Chocolate Drops. She has written songs for seven plays (Triad Stage and Playmaker's Rep) and her song cycle, The Gathering: A Winter's Tale in Six Songs premiered with the North Carolina Symphony. She is currently finishing an album of new songs, with M.C. Taylor of Hiss Golden Messenger producing. Kamara Thomas (she/her) is a Durham, NC-based singer-songspeller, ritualist, and multidisciplinary storyteller. Kamara's site-specific productions activate galleries, stages, and public spaces, weaving together music/theatre performance, land-based ritual, communal artmaking and oral history, as well as documentary, narrative, and experimental film.
