During the first half, Laura will perform her show, CHEAT, in full...
She debuted CHEAT -her first one-woman show- at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016 and received four & five-star reviews across the board. Since then, she has toured the show, appearing at venues such as The Meridien Hotel, Piccadilly and Vaulty Towers in Waterloo, La Villette in Paris and The Magic Castle in Los Angeles as well doing private performances in stately homes where she has regaled guests with this intriguing story.
After watching Laura's complete CHEAT show, she will delve into the effects showcased during the performance and discuss narrative-driven elements. Have you ever thought, "I’d love to perform that ‘trick’ but it doesn't fit with my character or concept"? This lecture demonstrates how almost any effect can be modified to fit your persona and story line simply by altering the narrative.
