An Ode to Beauty is a collection of photographs that reflects the way Juju Abadia sees the world: through a lens captivated by people, moments, and details often overlooked.
At the heart of the exhibition are portraits of individuals and artists from across the African continent, each carrying a story and presence that demanded to be seen. Alongside them, glimpses of wildlife and quiet, everyday details expand the narrative, weaving together a visual tribute to the many forms of beauty that surround us, in the extraordinary and the mundane.
This series is not just about what is seen, but about what is felt—a reminder that beauty is abundant, if only we pause to notice. It lives in the quiet, in the ordinary, in the stories we pass by. This exhibition is an invitation to slow down, to look closer, and to find wonder in what is already here.
Artist Biography:
Juju Abadia is a 20-year-old photographer and multi-media artist currently based in Zimbabwe. Raised between cultures, her work reflects the richness and complexity of that experience.
Juju has been creating art since childhood, but at 16 she discovered her passion for photography. Drawn to the beauty of everyday moments and the uniqueness of people she encounters, she uses her lens to tell stories and capture the essence of the extraordinary in the ordinary.
For Juju, photography is a form of storytelling and a way of expressing what words cannot. This exhibition marks her first photography showcase, and she is excited to share a glimpse of her joy and perspective with you!
