We are excited to announce the upcoming webinar series, Launching Inclusive Cancer Care: The LGBTQ+ SOGI Data Initiative, co-sponsored by California LGBTQ Health and Human Services Network and HIMSS SoCal Chapter. This initiative is funded through a special grant aimed at advancing healthcare equity for LGBTQ+ individuals by improving the collection and utilization of SOGI data.

The series will address the significant disparities in cancer care for LGBTQ+ populations and explore how better SOGI data collection and inclusive practices can drive more equitable healthcare outcomes. Thought leaders from healthcare IT, advocacy organizations, and clinical fields will share their insights and strategies for integrating SOGI data to enhance cancer care delivery and outcomes for LGBTQ+ communities.
