Launch Party and Reading for Farnoosh Fathi's GRANNY CLOUD

In Granny Cloud (NYRB Poets 2024), Farnoosh Fathi’s first collection in over a decade, iterations of lines tumble from poem to poem through repeated portraits of home and children, peas and baldness, worms, spiders, and snails that collect in a salivating cumulus of lyric reinvention.

Fathi will read from the collection and sign copies of Granny Cloud, which will be available for purchase. 

Joining Fathi is Philadelphia poet  Lena Rose Impellizzeri Weiss-Walker.

Farnoosh Fathi is the author of Great Guns and Granny Cloud, the editor of Joan Murray: Drafts, Fragments, and Poems, and the founder of the Young Artists Language and Devotion Alliance (YALDA). She lives in New York.
