The University of Manchester Innovation Academy
The Innovation Academy is a pan University initiative and joint venture between the Business Engagement and Innovation Team, the University of Manchester Innovation Factory and the Masood Entrepreneurship Centre, with the aim of bringing together knowledge, expertise and routes to facilitate the commercialisation of our research.
It will inspire and accelerate the translation of knowledge to provide benefit.
They will work with you to identify opportunities and facilitate entry into the innovation ecosystem at the most effective point to help provide clear pathways to commercialisation. This could include building University IP and research, building business partnerships, funding infrastructure, incubator space, expertise and mentorship, accelerator programmes and business planning.
You can also access a mentor network and an entrepreneurial community to help you get ready for success and equip you with the necessary skills and contacts to support your innovation journey.
In 2021, we ran the Innovation Academy for the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
