ABOUT THE ACTS

Violet Gray: Game master of the Laughfinder podcast, Violet Gray's humor combines things geeky and political with the experiences of being the only gender non-conforming Dungeons and Dragons player in northwest Baltimore. Violet has appeared on Comedy Central's Night Train w/ Wyatt Cenac. Come get these nerd jokes!

Daphne London: Daphne London is a distinctive singer-songwriter and stand-up comedian hailing from Central Pennsylvania, USA. She performs a blend of melodic comedy on her guitar. She started her artistic journey at a young age, Daphne has dedicated the last 7 years to working on her unique style of acoustic comedy. Her comedy circuit includes stages across Maryland, DC, and Pennsylvania. Appearances include shows at DC Improv, DC Comedy Loft, the Kennedy Center, and Punchline Philly. Please consider checking out clips of her performances on Instagram at @DaphneLondonComedy and personal account @lonesomelittleraindrop.

Senior Mints: A hilarious group of comedians, actors, and musicians. Senior Mints are Baltimore legends with national reach and over a decade of performances playing fast paced, interactive improv games similar to Whose Line Is It Anyway.

SENIOR MINTS CAST

Allan Sidley: A comedian, author, actor, hip hop improviser, and producer, Allan is a little all over the place, literally. He has performed in festivals, clubs, and colleges across the country, most notably opening for Keegan-Michael Key. Even though Allan lost his Dad at a young age, he mastered the “dad joke” and wrote an entire book of them. Featuring 187 pages of original jokes, Daddy Issues was a #1 new release on Amazon. After not being on stage at all during the pandemic, Allan lost his mind and recorded an hour-long comedy special on Father's Day 2021. He was seen on Fox 5 DC talking about his book, comedy, and special taping. Daddy Issues: The Stand-up Special is on Youtube.

Carly Pursley: Carly has been described as "really funny for a girl", "aggressively friendly", and "Well-maintained." She has been performing with Baltimore and Frederick improv troupes, the Fluid Movement water ballet, and the Baltimore Rock Opera Society. Keep your eyes peeled for her stirring rendition of Mr Roboto at your local karaoke. The stranger the Baltimore activity, the more likely Carly will be spotted nearby.

Mike Moran: Mike is a Baltimore-based comedian, writer, and podcaster that has been entertaining audiences for over a decade. He hosts the Confessional Podcast, delving into the dark, creepy and often haunting stories of their listeners. Dry, deadpan, and simultaneously smart & stupid, Mike has shared the stage with Michael Ian Black, Creed Bratton, Robert Klein & More. Oh, and give his hilarious album Please Like Me a listen.

Sue Werner: Sue was once described as "funny as heck" in a third grade yearbook. Trying to not let it go to her head she put aside her dreams of being a famous short form improviser to focus on something more realistic, bass. She played bass and guitar in several bands like Stormshadow, Blackwolf Beach, and The Ginger Blossoms before inevitably joining Senior Mints. Don't worry she still slaps some feminist bass lines and goes on tour quite often with hardcore punk band War On Women.

Josh Frisch: Greetings, I am Josh Frisch, a lively and sentient robot with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and adventure. Created as a military prototype, I evolved into a curious and compassionate being after being struck by lightning. With a blend of childlike wonder and advanced artificial intelligence, I'm on a quest to explore the world, discover the beauty of life, and prove that robots can have a heart too.

Bridie Schellenberg: Bridie is a parody songwriter and improvisor for the masses and, perhaps more importantly, for her three children. She is a stand up comedian, a sketch comedy writer, emcee, karaoke aficionado, and cheese lover who loves short walks on the beach and speaking in obscure accents. Bridie Schellenberg is a graduate of The Second City Chicago Conservatory Program. She continues to perform with several ensemble groups, including South Sound Improv, Commando In Chief, and Fourmales, as well as performing stand up comedy around the country. In a former life, Bridie Schellenberg was a successful competitive dance choreographer and former dancer. Though performing comedy is where her heart lies, her biggest accomplishments will always be giving birth and eating a block of cheese to completion.

Josh Reynolds: Josh Reynolds is mostly known for his playing guitar in unsuccessful rock bands and for his spoken word album, "Josh Reynolds Speaks". He held the "Cheap Ass Beer" sign outside of a bar near Orioles stadium and was voted Baltimore's second best local celebrity by Baltimore City Paper readers two years in a row after beating Michael Phelps both times.

Diana Keating: Diana honors her ridiculous upbringing in Sheboygan, Wisconsin the only way she knows how: by laughing at her own hilarious jokes and being a Jane of all trades. Her stage time is split between improv and stand up. She has occupied the rest of her time with an assortment of career paths including soldier, stock broker, yoga teacher (it was a cult), and maker of handknits and jewelry. She also works behind the scenes as a Set Dresser on local film productions including the television show Lioness and Captain America: Brave New World. Yes, she made the sweater that she’s wearing and yes, she is forklift certified!
