Laufey celebrates the release of Mei Mei The Bunny

Join on April 25, 2026, as we welcome two–time GRAMMY Award–winning musician and singer to the store for a reading and discussion of her debut picture book, . Join Laufey and Dr. Skye Patrick, CEO of LA County Library, for a discussion, Q&A, and full reading of this bewitching picture book about overcoming mistakes and believing in oneself! Two sessions will be offered. Before or after your session, you will also have the chance to meet Mei Mei The Bunny in person and take a photo together!

To make this event safe and enjoyable for all attendees, please read the below guidelines ahead of buying a ticket, so you know what to expect on the day. To avoid disappointment, we must stress that there will be no access to the event for non-ticketholders.

Please note that Eventbrite is the only authorized dealer for this event. Tickets are nontransferable. Do not purchase tickets from a third-party. Each person must have a ticket to enter.

• The book will be pre-signed.
• All ticket holders will receive the book after their session.

• This event is a discussion and reading ONLY. No live signing or photos with the artist will occur.
• Ticket holders must attend the session assigned to their ticket.
• Additional copies of the book will be available while supplies last at the 1st floor registers.
• No large bags will be permitted into the event.
• Barnes & Noble may cancel this event at any time with or without notice to the ticket holders.

Ticket holders will be admitted into the space 10 minutes prior to the start time of their session. Ticket holders must attend the session assigned to their ticket. Late arrivals are not guaranteed to attend a different session if they miss their assigned session. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check-in. Stop by the first-floor help desk to find the check-in location.

• Some outside queuing may be required, so please do come dressed appropriately for all weather.
• The exact time at which the event ends will be determined on the day.
• To avoid disappointment, we strongly advise you to arrive on time for the event. Late arrivals may not have the opportunity to enter the event space.
• Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted to join the queue.
