🎭 A Latvian Woman in Italy (Only) Introduces Herself. Part 2 – Mothers – Latvian theatre “Momento” (Italy)
Language: Latvian (with English translation)
The Latvian theatre group in Italy, “Momento”, will present their production “A Latvian Woman in Italy (Only) Introduces Herself. Part 2 – Mothers” to the festival audience this year. The play is primarily written by Regnārs Vaivars and is based on his texts, with inspiration drawn from the real-life stories of Latvian women living in Italy. These are honest and emotional confessions about life abroad, a woman’s strength, the choice to pursue theatre, as well as reflections on loneliness, belonging, and the role of motherhood.

Latviešu teātris Itālijā “Momento” saieta skatītājiem šogad piedāvās noskatīties izrādi “Latviešu sieviete Itālijā (tikai) iepazīstina ar sevi. 2. daļa – “Mātes””, kuras pamatautors ir Regnārs Vaivars.
Iestudējums balstīts uz autora tekstiem, bet iedvesma radusies no Itālijā dzīvojošo latviešu sieviešu stāstiem – tās ir atklātas un emocionālas atzīšanās par dzīvi svešumā, par sievietes spēku, par izvēli būt teātrī, par vientulību, piederību un mātes lomu.
