Denver native Felisa Hernandez aka “LatinSoul” has been immersed in the Colorado music scene since she was 14 years old. She is one of the top Latina vocalists in Denver, Colorado with autism. Her versatility and talent are showcased within the genres of Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin, Pop, Oprah and Gospel. Her music can be described as soulful, eloquent, and deeply profound.
Her accomplishments include opening for 3 Little Women, Ziggi Marley, Too Short, Little Flip, Kid Frost, Baby Bash, Amanda Perez, NB Riders, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams, Crystal Louis. In addition, she has performed the Mexican National Anthem during the 2019 soccer finals at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, as well as the US National Anthem at the 1st Bank Center and Golden Gloves Tournament. As a vocal student of Dr. Scott Martin, in 1996 she was led to compete in the World Championship of Performing Arts, bringing home 3 gold medals, 2 silver, and one bronze.
2005 She released her album entitled “Sacrificios” and her song “Esta Noche” had more requests than Daddy Yankee, “Gasolina”.
In 2018 she performed on Tengo Mucho Talento, the Latin American Idol, and received a call back.
Keeping in touch with her Mexican and Indigenous heritage, she has gained prominence in the community, opening for artists such as El Alfa, Hector El Godfather, Los Hermanos Rosarios, Anthony Santos, Elvis Crespo and more. She has earned her place as a fixture in Denver’s music scene by a performance at their largest festival, The Underground Music Showcase, and a feature on the song dubbed as the city’s anthem, “This Is My Town” by Colorado veteran D-DUBB.
As a mother of three, she encourages her children to follow in her footsteps through collaboration, demonstrated by an EP with her eldest son Isaac Herrera, who produces all her music, titled “I AM’. "ANCESTORS", displaying the spirituality and family mentality so often included in her songs. Her music has landed airplay on Sirius XM, Shade 45 and the movie Get Lost, with “ANCESTORS” in particular being showcased on LA Talk Radio and the Colorado Culture Connection.
Currently, LatinSoul has dropped her most anticipated album entitled “QUEENDOM”, featuring Ash Ruiz.
