About this Event
Join Latino Outdoors and the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District (IERCD) for a morning of hands-on conservation and citizen science at the Louis Robidoux Parkland and Pecan Grove (LRPPG) in Jurupa Valley!
Volunteers will help plant native species that support pollinators year-round and take part in a pollinator bioblitz to document butterflies, bees, and other wildlife in the gardens. As a bonus, participants will also be able to take home a plant! This event is open to all ages.
Please wear outdoor-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes, bring a reusable water bottle, and download the free iNaturalist app ahead of time to participate in data collection.
All other tools, materials, and beverages/snacks will be provided. Come ready to plant, observe, and protect pollinators!
IMPORTANT: Please complete both waivers. Children under 18 years of age must get the waiver completed by their parents.
