The River Room proudly presents our second high-energy Latin Dance Social featuring the electrifying 10-piece ensemble Bentetú. Known for their irresistible blend of salsa, merengue, bachata, timba, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, Bentetú brings a sound big enough to shake the room and a groove guaranteed to keep dancers moving all night long!
During the course of the evening, River Room Latin & Salsa instructor, Oswaldo Tirano of Grasshopper Arts, will lead a brief demonstration and beginner-friendly dance instruction, helping dancers of all experience levels feel confident and ready to move! Whether you’re a seasoned salsero or stepping onto the floor for the first time, Oswaldo’s warm, accessible teaching style will set the perfect tone for a night of connection and celebration.
Once the live music begins, The River Room transforms into downtown Willimantic’s hottest Latin dance social! Expect soaring horns, driving percussion, soulful vocals, and a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates the richness of Latin music, dance, art, culture, and community!
