Latin America and Spain Film Festival - Christchurch

This year, the Latin America & Spain Film Festival (LASFF) in New Zealand reaches its 23rd edition. LASFF is a nonprofit event aiming to bring the Spanish and Latin American culture closer to New Zealanders. Each of the seven participating Embassies, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Mexico, Peru and Spain, provides one recent film produced in its representing country that showcases our culture and way of life.
Viva la Vida Events and Projects and the University of Canterbury are very proud to bring the Festival to Christchurch!!
All the movies are FREE ENTRY with ENGLISH SUBTITLES.
Eight movies in two venues: Christchurch Art Gallery (Wed 22, Sat 25 & Sun 26 October) and University of Canterbury ( C A4 Lecture Theatre (Thu 23 & Fri 24 October).
Opening day is Wed 22 October - 5:30pm - Christchurch Art Gallery with networking followed by the Spanish movie. Tapas and Wine served by Curators House Restaurant, kindly sponsored by the Embassy of Spain in NZ.
