You are cordially invited to cap off the longest night of the year, Winter Solstice, with a late night ecstatic dance wave. This will be a longer wave intended to take you deep within and inspired to emerge uplifted and light.
Ecstatic dance is a free-form, non-choreographed, somatic movement practice. Many find it transformative at times, revitalizing at times, spiritually moving both individually and connectively as community.
This evening will be as much about embracing the long dark night with intention for ourselves, but also in connection with community. And so we will be sharing the evening with Inner Perfect's owner, Meleah for a full opportunity to honor the dark and call forth the light.
8 pm Meleah will hold a community circle open to all ~ it will be an eclectic blend of many spiritual paths, melded together to honor the season.
9 pm (ish) we will have a community Potluck - Please bring an food item to share!
10 pm doors open for ecstatic dance (for those who didn't join the circle or potluck)
Dance will begin at 10:30 and end around midnight.
Attendance fee for the Community Circle is donation based, payable to Meleah. Fee for Ecstatic Dance is a $10-20 sliding scale, payable to Diana. Both hosts will have a collection bowl/method for fees.

We have two opportunities to share the love if you are feeling so inspired. We will have a donation station for cold-weather needs for the Knoxville houseless community, and items like scarves, gloves, blankets, and hand warmer packs are desperately needed as the temperatures drop this time of year.
We will also have a gift-exchange table for anyone who'd like to "leave a gifl / take a gift" = bring as many or as few as you'd like (yule crafts, baked goods, items you want to pass on) These items can be wrapped or simply placed on the exchange table.
