Our last session of 2025……Come join us, to help shape this young orchard. Gently working with nature to create a space that better supports wildlife.
We will be repairing the dead hedge and adding to it. Adding in some more bulbs and we will be planting a few Black Poplar trees. They like wet feet, and are extremely rare, but great for caterpillars and pollinators. The orchard is an old floodplain and is generally quite damp, so this spot could be good.
Ours will be part of a small hedge, along the woodland edge.
Tools provided, it’s a family friendly session and there will be cake (I promise ??). Please let us know if you can make it by clicking "going" so we know how much cake to bring!
