First and third Mondays of each month, Feb-Dec (except Easter) with occasional bonus nights
Monday 15th December, 2025: Contra Dance with hot old-time tunes by Ross Smithard and Friends.
Bring a plate of supper to celebrate the end of the year afterwards. Feel free to wear something festive.

Contra dancing is moderately aerobic and highly addictive. It’s a lively, social, swingy dance style from the USA. Done to simple walking steps, it features flowing movements, swings and twirls, and a chance to dance with everyone in the room.
Tickets: $7-15 at https://folktas.org/monday or at the door.
All dances taught.
No dancing experience or partner required.
