About this Event
On Friday 5 June 2026, the Hampshire Hogs Cricket Club hosts one of the most extraordinary days in the Hampshire sporting calendar — a full afternoon and evening at Warnford in the Meon Valley, combining a three-course marquee lunch with world-class cricket legends, a live auction, a T20 match, and an unforgettable Q&A hosted by Henry Blofeld OBE.
Warnford is Hampshire's answer to Arundel Castle and Wormsley — one of the most beautiful private cricket grounds in England, owned in trust by its members since 1994 and home to the Hampshire Hogs since 1887. There is no finer setting for a day like this.
THE LASHINGS WORLD XI
The Lashings World XI have been touring England for forty years, bringing international legends to grounds across the country. This year's confirmed squad for Warnford includes Courtney Walsh, Saqlain Mushtaq, Monty Panesar, Owais Shah and Henry Blofeld OBE. The 2026 squad also includes Sir Gordon Greenidge, Sir Curtly Ambrose, John Emburey, Adam Hollioake and Martin Bicknell. The full squad appearing at Warnford will be confirmed closer to the day.

Junior Hoggets coaching session with the Lashings players.
Info: The session is free of charge for all Hampshire Hoggets members, and also free for any child whose parent or guardian holds a marquee lunch ticket for the day. It is a rare opportunity for young players to receive coaching from some of the most celebrated names in world cricket — Courtney Walsh, Saqlain Mushtaq, Monty Panesar and Owais Shah among them — in an informal, encouraging environment.
The session runs from 11am to approximately 12:15pm. Children should arrive by 10:50am in cricket whites or sports kit. Places are limited and must be pre-booked. A parent or guardian must remain on site throughout the session.
🕑: 12:00 PM - 07:00 PM
3 course Lunch in classic marquee with delicious wines available
Info: Take your seat in the Lashings marquee at Warnford for a three-course lunch alongside Courtney Walsh, Saqlain Mushtaq, Monty Panesar, Owais Shah and Henry Blofeld — an atmosphere you will not find at any other cricket event in Hampshire.
The afternoon builds through player introductions, the main course with raffle and silent auction, to a cricket legends Q&A hosted by Henry Blofeld OBE — funny, illuminating, and the kind of conversation that gets quoted for years.
Your ticket includes lunch, the Q&A, the live auction, autographs and photographs with the players, and full access to the T20 and Hogs bar. The marquee remains open all evening. Tables of 10 available.

T20 match — Hampshire Hogs vs Lashings World XI
Info: As the auction ends, the marquee empties onto the boundary and the main event begins. The Hampshire Hogs take on the Lashings World XI in a T20 match that is competitive, entertaining and entirely unpredictable.
Courtney Walsh steaming in. Saqlain Mushtaq tossing up his doosra. Monty Panesar wheeling away from the pavilion end. And the Hogs — 139 years of wandering cricket behind them — doing their very considerable best to make it a match.
The Hogs bar is open throughout. Bloers will be doing the live commentary. The bar stays open. And Warnford, on a June evening with a game in the balance, is as good as English cricket gets.
