Welcome to the Laser Engraving 101 Workshop! Join us on Friday, June 12th at 0900 at The Eagle Institute for a hands-on experience in the world of laser engraving. This hands-on workshop introduces Air University stakeholders to the fundamentals of laser engraving, combining design, fabrication, and rapid prototyping in a practical learning environment. Participants will gain experience using industry-standard equipment to create custom engraved products while developing a foundational understanding of digital design workflows.
The session covers key topics including laser safety, machine operation, material selection, and file preparation. Attendees will be guided step-by-step through the process of designing and producing their own engraved item, reinforcing concepts through real-time application.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a completed project and a working knowledge of how laser engraving can support innovation, prototyping, and mission-driven problem solving across disciplines.
No prior experience is required. All materials and equipment are provided.
