About this Event

Description

An extensive hands on Festival Braiding workshop designed to provide practical training in the art of braiding, specifically focusing on feeding in the hair for Dutch braiding. Through the course students will engage in hands on sessions where they will practice festival braids, sectioning, parting and creating designs. The class will cover pricing, timing, foundational principles, including tension control, pattern variation and the use of different braiding tools and products. I will provide personalized guidance and constructive feedback to help students refine their techniques and develop a keen eye for detail. Emphasizing a learn-by-doing approach, this class aims to equip participants with the confidence and proficiency needed to excel in the field of festival braiding.

Upon enrollment in this hands-on braiding class, each student will receive a comprehensive braid kit to enhance their learning experience both in the classroom and at home. The kit is thoughtfully curated to include essential tools and materials, ensuring that participants have everything that they need to practice and perfect their braiding skills. From high quality combs, to sectioning clips, rubberbands, braiding extensions, styling products and a product list. I will provide hair jewels/decorations to be used in class.

As a unique highlight students will gain comprehensive knowledge on how to expertly feed hair, allowing them to create stunning festival braids that are stylish. This hands-on learning approach, coupled with the personalized braid kit, ensures that students not only master fundamentals of braiding but also leave the class full equipped to showcase their skills in creating eye-catching festival braids.
