The Gatlin Brothers – A Legendary Career in Country Music
Larry, Steve, and Rudy Gatlin are Grammy Award-winning country legends whose career spans nearly seven decades. With 7 #1 singles, 32 Top 40 hits, 24 studio albums, and 5 BMI Million-Air Awards, the Gatlin Brothers have left a lasting mark on the music world. Their hit “Broken Lady” earned them a Grammy for Best Country Song, while their chart-topping “All the Gold in California” and the album Straight Ahead brought them ACM awards for Single and Album of the Year, along with Male Vocalist of the Year for Larry.
As a solo songwriter, Larry Gatlin ranks #4 all-time for Billboard Top 40 self-penned hits. His songs have been recorded by music royalty including Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Glen Campbell, and many more. He is a proud inductee of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Larry later moved to Nashville, where his songwriting caught the attention of Dottie West, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash, leading to a record deal with Monument Records. In 1975, Steve and Rudy joined Larry in Nashville, officially forming the trio that would go on to define a generation of country music.
