Jack McGrath was a Machine gunner with the 11th Airborne in the Philippines. Jack fought in Manilla, and Ft. McKinley.as well as many more fights. His most memorable fight was a rescue of 2,000 civilian men women and children at a POW camp named Los Banos. Jack along with about 200 paratroopers jumped near the camp while some Philippine and American infantrymen infiltrated into the camp area to make the rescue. One of the rescue's was a 7yr old boy named Marc Rogers who was POW at age 4 until his rescue at age seven. Larry personally knew Marc Rogers for about eight years and has a lot of pictures that Marc gave him which he can show at the Zoom program.
