Keep Pinellas Beautiful is excited to kick off the 2026 Great American Cleanup (GAC), taking place from March 1st through June 30th across Pinellas County. The Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup® is the nation’s largest community improvement initiative, uniting thousands of communities in service each year. From individuals and families to students, civic groups, businesses, and government partners, our volunteers share a common goal: protecting and enhancing the environmental health of the place we call home.
Join The City of Largo in partnership with Keep Pinellas Beautiful on Saturday, May 9th for a cleanup at Highland Recreation Complex! Volunteers will assist with picking up litter and debris. This event is free and open to all ages. We can't wait to see you there!
Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 must be signed in by a parent or guardian.

WHERE TO MEET: Highland Recreation Complex - 400 Highland Ave, Largo, FL 33770
TIME: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in.
WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes such as boots or sneakers, sun protection, and weather appropriate clothing.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available. Please bring a refillable water bottle. Restrooms are available on site.
PARKING: Free parking will be available on site.
