Welcome to the Laramie Police Department Peer Support Training event! Join us for three days of an interactive in-person training session where you will learn essential skills to provide peer support to your colleagues. This training is designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively assist your fellow officers in times of need, as well as provide valuable information on peer support essentials such as confidentiality, active listening, and critical incident response.

Hosted by Laramie Police Department, this training will provide two days of basic peer support information, followed by a third day of advanced information, where you will learn how to conduct critical incident debriefs for departments throughout the state. You will learn the content around and engage in workshops to practice the skills to prepare our team to be able to support departments across the state quickly, effectively, and consistently.
