Rock music collective Lankykats has now raised more than £56,000 for local charities since forming back in 2010, all while giving local musicians a place to perform and keeping live music alive.Annually organising a special event at Liverpool’s famous Cavern Club on Sunday 14 June, is where several regular Lankykats bands get the chance to perform at one of the UK’s most iconic music venues.
Chair Dave Cavey said, 'For only £2 admission on the door from 6:00 - 10pm we can support our five nominated charities with further donations'.
Twice a month, bands and volunteers give up their time at Standish Unity Club, Wigan, so people can enjoy a great night of live music for just £1 entry and prize raffles.
