Discover nature-based solutions for the home gardener that lessen the impacts of our changing climate.Eileen Davis, Environmental Educator, has variously served the Lake County Forest Preserves as an intern, volunteer and staff member since 1997. She earned her B.S. in Zoology and Environmental Biology from Eastern Illinois University, and an M.S. in Environmental Education and Interpretation from University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. Eileen teaches people of all ages about Lake County’s diverse ecosystems, and the plants and animals that call them home. In her free time, she enjoys tending her home garden and traveling in search of new nature adventures. She has cultivated native plants in her yard for nearly 20 years.
Our Green Drinks presentations feature a speaker at 6:30pm for a 30+ minute program, q&a, and time for announcements. We meet every other month, on odd-numbered months at Pizzeria de Ville, 404 N Milwaukee, Libertyville.
Please patronize our host with drink/dinner orders before 6pm if possible. We are guests at Pizzeria de Ville.
All are welcome to attend any of our Tuesday meetings.
