Ideal for first-time printmakers and for those who would like to refresh their printmaking skills. Translate your images into black and white using strong composition and the balance of positive and negative space, and create additional textures through carving. Experience the entire process, from transferring your image to a linoleum plate, safely carving, inking, preparing the paper, making a simple jig for your plate, and printing both by hand and using the press. Participants will leave with a small edition of linocut prints.
