KELOWNA ROSE
Originaire de Durham-Sud, Kelowna Rose émerge comme une talentueuse chanteuse et auteure-
compositrice. Elle vous invitera dans son univers r&b, soul et jazz avec sa voix feutrée, son groove et sa
personnalité attachante. Son amour pour le rétro transparaît non seulement dans son style, mais aussi
dans ses influences musicales, notamment Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder et Nina Simone. Kelowna
incarne une vielle âme teintée d'humour, de douceur et d'humanité.
Plutôt cette année, elle a pu partager la scène avec le band Montréalais légendaire The Brooks, faisant
leur première partie aux Concerts de la Cité.
Le 1 er décembre elle célèbre en spectacle le lancement de son premier EP intitulé Guilty of my reality
dans lequel elle explore des thèmes tels que l'émancipation, la guérison émotionnelle et l'engagement
social. Sur scène, la chanteuse laisse place à l'improvisation musicale et la magie du moment.
HANORAH
Hanorah is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal known for her soulful music and rich, textured
voice.
Following the release of her album, "Perennial" with Ensoul Records, she toured the U.K. tour with stops
at Liverpool Soundcity and Focus Wales, headlined a SXSW show, and extended the tour to include LA
and New York. She has been billed with the likes of Mavis Staples (Pop Mtl), Lee Fields (Mtl Jazz Fest),
and Coeur de Pirate.
Her debut EP, "For The Good Guys and the Bad Guys," released in 2019 via Dare to Care Records, gained
over a million streams and numerous awards. In 2022, her first album, "Perennial," quickly garnered
attention with over 50,000 Spotify streams in its first month and was featured on more than 20
Canadian radio stations. Exclaim! Magazine listed the album as a ‘staff pick’ for 2022 and she performed
several tracks on the hit Quebec TV show Belle et Bum.
After the success of her music video for single "Time Waits for No Woman," a chance encounter with
film director and producer George Assimakopoulos (Orphan Black, Hannibal, Hairspray) led to her being
cast as the lead in her first feature-length film, which will premiere at the Kingston Canadian Film
Festival in 2025.
Her latest EP, “Closer than Hell,” produced by BC-born producer and shoegazer Max Frazer (Dylyn), is set
to release in May of 2025.
