About this Event
This isn’t your usual whisky festival. This is something brand new.
From 1st–3rd May 2026, The Whisky Lounge is bringing you a whole new way to enjoy whisky, spirits, food, and fun — set in the incredible surroundings of Lancaster Brewery & Lancaster Spirits Co.
Running alongside the Lancaster Food & Drink Festival, this is more than just a whisky event — it’s a weekend where you can sip, taste, explore and discover at your own pace.
Here’s what makes it special:
✨ Stay as long as you like — we’ve done away with old-fashioned “sessions.” No more awkward “time’s up” moments. Come and go as you please, make a day of it.
🥃 Two ticket types, your choice — grab one of our limited wristbands if you want to explore a little of everything, or build your own journey with tokens for drams, cocktails, or masterclasses.
🏭 Behind-the-scenes access — you'll be in and around a working distillery! Enjoy rolling distillery tours and join masterclasses inside the atmospheric Bonded Warehouse. Book ahead or on the day.
🍹 Not just whisky — our re-vamped TWL Cocktail Bar is back with drinks from some of our favourite brands. Whether you’re into whisky, rum, gin or cocktails, there’s something for you.
🚌 Easy to get to — hop on our shuttle bus service running from Lancaster city centre straight to the venue and back.
🍴 Double the fun — your ticket also gets you access to the buzzing Lancaster Food & Drink Festival happening at the same time. Sample local wares and delicacies between drams!

Masterclasses
We are planning to have a stunning array of special classes and workshops from both Lancaster Spirits Co. and visiting distillers and bottlers.
The Festival Shop
There will be a retail shop on site, plus some exhibitors will be selling direct from their stands, so you'll be able to purchase what you taste!

‘last pour’ is always 15 minutes prior to the session end time. This is non-negotiable!
All attendees must be 21 or over – photo ID may be required.
