Lancaster Pride is a yearly celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community and the people within it — a day dedicated to visibility, acceptance, and coming together as a community. Pride is for everyone, and we welcome people from Lancaster and the surrounding areas to join us for a day of celebration, support, and solidarity.The day will begin with our Pride Parade at 11:00am, bringing colour, music, and celebration through the city for around an hour as we proudly stand together and celebrate our community.
From 12:00pm onwards, the celebrations continue with live performances, entertainment, community stalls, and activities throughout the afternoon. Expect a vibrant atmosphere, fantastic acts, and the chance to connect with local organisations, businesses, and community groups who support LGBTQIA+ people across the area.
Lancaster Pride is organised by local LGBTQ+ community organisation LGBT Out in the Bay, who work year-round to support LGBTQ+ people across Lancaster, Morecambe and the wider Bay area through support groups, youth work, events and community projects.
Community events like Pride rely on support from the people who believe in them. We’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign to help cover the costs of hosting the event — from staging and performers to accessibility and safety.
