🐶 How it works
Visitors can walk through our yard and see all of our adoptable dogs. If you meet a dog you’re interested in, a volunteer will bring you and the dog into one of our 13 fenced runs for a one-on-one meet-and-greet so you can spend some time getting to know them.
Our volunteers will be onsite throughout the event to answer questions, share each dog’s personality, and help guide you through the adoption process.
Our goal is simple: help more dogs get seen, make more connections, and find more forever homes. 🏡🐾

📌 Important Information 📌
-- Submit an application ahead of time (recommended!) --
We highly recommend submitting an adoption application before the event to save time. If you meet a dog you’re interested in, there will be a computer available in our office to complete the application—but if the event is busy, there may be a wait.
Having an approved application already on file can help you skip the line, and there’s a good chance you could even go home the same day with the dog you choose.
Another benefit is that the application only needs to be completed once and is valid for 6 months. Even if you don’t meet your perfect match that day, you’re always welcome to come back another time when a dog catches your eye.
-- Please do not bring your dog to the event --
If you’re interested in adopting a specific dog, we’ll schedule a separate appointment for you to return with your dog so we can properly introduce them and make sure they’re a good match.
-- Foster-to-Adopt option --
For dogs over 6 months old, we offer a Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) period. This is a 3-day trial that allows you to bring the dog home and make sure they’re the right fit for your family, other pets, schedule, and lifestyle.
We want adopters to feel confident before making such an important commitment. During the Foster-to-Adopt period, we can provide supplies such as a collar, leash, food, crate, and other essentials to help make the transition into your home as smooth as possible.
