Start the day with a private guided tour of Florida Southern College's "Child of the Sun" campus, home to the largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture designs. Go inside the chapel, faculty house and Morris Planetarium, which closed for renovations in 2021 and has not been open to the public since. Learn how Wright’s love of nature and use of organic architecture created this one-of-a-kind place, designated a National Historic Landmark in 2012. Then, visit the Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art, with a docent-led tour of a collection of Highwaymen paintings. Be inspired by works of art from African-American men who, starting in the 1950's, traveled Florida and painted its landscapes. Wind down the day at Bonnett Springs Park, a large urban park with unique views and attractions, including a tree canopy walk via elevated boardwalk, nature center, butterfly garden, tram, cafe and rooftop bar. Registration is $145 for CNCP members, $165 for non-members. Includes travel by private motor coach and all tour and admission fees. Lunch not included. Guests will have time for lunch at a local restaurant or may bring their own.
