Lake Miramar Overlook Loop Hike

This hike for Scripps Ranch residents is sponsored by the Scripps Ranch Trails Committee.

We will begin at Miramar Overlook Park and follow a trail down to the lake and then hike east on the Roller Coaster Trail through chapparel and Eucalyptus until we begin to a final climb to an amazing 360 degree viewpoint overlooking the Lake, Scripps Ranch and views to the north. The last climb is an elevation gain of about 230 ft. on a rocky trail but getting to the top will be worth the effort. The rocky trails can be slippery so wear good trail shoes and bring poles if you have them.

The Miramar Overlook Park has only 18 parking spaces so we are limiting this hike to only the first 20 hikers who register. Try to carpool to the park for the limited parking.
