'The Committee for the Hunter' Lake Macquarie Triathlon Festival, running from 14th to 16th March 2025, is a three-day celebration of swimming, cycling, and running, open to athletes of all levels—from elite competitors to novices and juniors. Set against the stunning backdrop of Speers Point Park on Lake Macquarie, the event features a calm swim in protected waters, a flat and closed-road cycle leg, and a scenic, flat run course.Participants can join the Friday night Charity Fun Run, compete in the Aquathlon or Open Water Swim on Saturday, or take on the triathlon on Sunday, choosing from Standard, Sprint, or Short distances—including races for juniors.
