Development Authority of Fulton County
Sarah-Elizabeth Langford is the Executive Director of Develop Fulton also known as the Development Authority of Fulton County, where she oversees incentives and bond issuances to attract investment, create jobs, and support economic growth. Under her leadership, Develop Fulton manages billions in development projects annually, leveraging public-private partnerships to enhance communities and expand critical infrastructure, including data centers, technology hubs and corporate relocations and expansions. Appointed to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by Governor Nathan Deal and to the Board of Economic Development by Governor Brian Kemp, Sarah-Elizabeth plays a role in shaping Georgia’s economic and educational landscape. She also serves on the boards of GEEARS, the Atlanta International School, and the University System of Georgia Foundation. Born and raised in Atlanta, Sarah-Elizabeth is a graduate of Pace Academy. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where she was a member of the Big Ten Championship women’s gymnastics team and then earned her law degree from Howard University School of Law. She also worked in affordable housing development for nearly a decade. Sarah-Elizabeth is also the former First Lady of Atlanta where she was involved in initiatives supporting early childhood education, affordable housing and economic opportunity. She and her young daughter are fluent French speakers.
