LAHouseConcerts welcomes you to a special heart-centered evening of mindfulness and music at The Lair Hollywood, a private wellness space in the Hollywood Hills. In collaboration with Find Your Joy™ and Peace Inside Live, we intentionally gather to honor and support Afghanistan.
Come ready to connect courageously and savor a sunset performance of intricate strings and rhythms drawing from Afghanistan's rich musical tradition spanning over 2500 years. This concert will feature Qais Essar on the 20-string rabab and Neelamjit Dhillon on tabla. (Listen here on Spotify).
We will be collecting donations for the Miry's List Emergency Action Fund, which provides essential support for Afghan refugees in the United States.
Under the open night sky, this musical experience will combine LAHouseConcerts’ signature deep-listening concerts with Find Your Joy’s somatic and experiential techniques, designed to open our hearts to the soothing sounds and foster a sense of community and connection. Nourishing drinks and treats will be served.
We encourage guests to be fully vaccinated. Casual attire; please bring layers as it may get chilly after sunset. Very limited parking is available given the residential neighborhood location. Ride-sharing is necessary.
