An album created in Longsight, Manchester by British South Asian guitar virtuoso & composer Aziz Ibrahim in collaboration with some of the greatest musicians of the United Kingdom
Imagine various members of The Stone Roses, The Smiths, Paul Weller, Style Council, Primal Scream, Talvin Singh & Fundamental came together to help a friend make his debut album!
The twist to the tale, this now 25-year-old album was never released!
Such is the album by Longsight born former guitarist for The Stone Roses, Simply Red & Asia.
Celebrations will feature a wide range of cultural elements, including a series of exciting presentations, performances & music, and dance.
South Asia Gallery - A screening of a short documentary film by 10Boroughs about what & why of the album, coupled with a photo exhibition that highlights the heritage & influence behind the album.
